November was a riot. Tim and I escaped to Vegas for a few days without kids, to celebrate our 15 years so far. We had a blast. We shopped, we ate, we went to 3 shows, Jersey Boys, Phantom of the Opera, and Cirque de Soleil's Mystere. They were all really great. In Mystere, Tim got pulled up on stage, and then the spotlight was on me, for quite a while, as the guy who pulled tim up on stage locked him in a box and proceeded to bust out the champagne glasses for us and pretend to be on a date with me...funny but rather embarrassing. We also went to the BSU football game. We managed to get our photo taken by a photographer there, and this photo has turned up all over the internet..Ha ha ha.

Anyhow the weekend was a blast, and it gave us a chance to remember that we like hanging out together. Alone.
Then the next weekend, my brother Tyler and the two Troy's came down to Boise for the TCU football game. It was so fun to have him and his friends here for a couple of days. We fed them maple/bacon bars, and went to Merritts in the middle of the night for scones. Had fun watching Troy L make the cheerleaders uncomfortable at the basketball game, and, Oh yeah, we went to the game, and got our hearts broken. We were on TV and I had to laugh cause I had just finished telling Troy L that he needed to lose the hood and sunglasses because he looked like the unibomber, and then they show us cheering, and he looks like the unibomber!

For Thanksgiving, we went down to Palm Springs. We spent the week at the pool and then had an amazing Thanksgiving buffet at the Marriott. It was so good. We had some friends who were down there too, which made it that much more fun for all of us. The weather was amazing the whole time. The guys golfed a lot, and we swam, shopped, and just relaxed. The kids loved the chocolate fountain on the dessert buffet, and I loved everything especially the not cooking part.
