Hooray for June. School is out, and so is the sun...finally. Swim team has started, and the summer job charts. I have been lazy about bedtime, so all of us have big bags under our eyes, but I figure we can get some rest during the colder darker months.
The kids kicked butt at the first swim meet of the year, and managed to make about $80 at the neighborhood garage sale, selling drinks, treats, and bracelets that they made, so now they have moola for the shaved ice shack.
Preston, (our nephew) is here from Vegas for a couple of weeks, and I am watching Justin and Mieke for a few days while my dear friends enjoy a much needed respite in Costa Rica. So yes, picture me with 8 kids for the next little bit! But it's all good...it's actually pretty fun for the kids. They are keeping each other entertained, the babies are sleeping, and I am ditching housework to blog.
