Really...where did the summer go?
Okay, I guess June was spent at the pool and in the yard. I spent the month doing projects and making my kids work.
July was fun. We spent 2 weeks in Canada. A week with the Francis Grandparents and cousins, then a week in Waterton, and a 50th wedding anniversary party with the Dudley's.
August...sigh. Spent the first 3 weeks of it in the hospital. Sort of forgot it was summer. Celebrated my birthday in there, and then gave birth. Another 9 days in NICU. Got home, only to send kids off to school 5 days later. Again, sigh.
August is where it all came apart this year. Oh well, at least we got another cute baby out of the deal, and fall is a nice season anyway. Can't wait for fall. HOORAY for fall.
